Caya Diaphragm gel

Caya® Diaphragm gel is a contraceptive gel for women to use in combination with a (Caya®) pessary. A Caya diaphragm is a barrier contraceptive.

Caya® gel reduces the mobility of sperm cells. Caya® gel is applied to the bulges of the membrane and to the outer ring of the Caya® diaphragm before intercourse. The pH value of the gel is acidic, which makes the environment in the vagina unfavorable for sperm cells.

The Caya® gel is odorless, colorless and water-soluble. The gel can be combined with latex or polyurethane condoms

Caya Gel does NOT protect against STDs and is not a contraceptive in itself.

Caya gel consists of lactic acid, sodium lactate, cellulose, sorbic acid, vanillin and water.
