3.4 Circumference of penis after sexual stimulus: grouped by estimated erection

Figure 6 shows the distribution of penile circumferences grouped by estimated erection (n=162). Table 6 shows the frequency distribution for subjects who reported having a 'full erection (n=45). For this group the mean circumference was 122 mm (standard deviation 18 mm, range 90 - 160 mm, median 118 mm). Twenty-five percent of these subjects obtained a penile circumference of less than 109 mm, seventy-five percent obtained a penile circumference of less than 132 mm, and ninety percent obtained a penile circumference of less than 154 mm.
